I built this for companies many times your size.
Marketing Systems Guild is an operator, not an agency on retainer. I take the demand engine I used in enterprise B2B and build it for you, customized to your size.

Bill Becht
A brand and demand-generation leader with 22 years across B2B and B2C. Most recently I led senior brand and marketing at Radian, a $4B+ publicly traded financial-services company, where I steered brand integration for its $1.7B acquisition, led a full corporate rebrand, and ran the demand engines behind its consumer fintech platforms.
Earlier, I ran enterprise demand generation at Ricoh across federal government, higher education, and business-services verticals, and built data-driven retail marketing across an entire national portfolio of brands sold inside Macy's, JCPenney, Sears, Meijer, and Hudson's Bay.
What ties it together is an uncommon combination: a Temple MBA in corporate finance on top of a marketing degree, plus a genuinely quantitative toolkit that includes Python segmentation and scoring, machine-learning models, conjoint and MAX-DIFF research, and experimental design. I use all of it in service of brand and demand, never instead of them.
In early 2026 I left the enterprise world to build MSG, to bring that same big-company demand engine to the B2B services firms that can't yet justify a full team, and to make it theirs.
Connect on LinkedIn →Enterprise-grade rigor, built to your scale.
The diagnostic that scores your demand runs on real statistical models underneath, logistic regression and random forest. When your own system needs that kind of rigor, I build it in. The same standard I used at enterprise scale, sized to your business and made yours to keep.
Five principles I build on.
The foundation of how I approach every marketing system.
Understand how customers actually decide.
Not how you assume they do. Decisions are messy, social, and rarely rational, so your marketing system has to match.
See your market as a system.
With feedback loops, not just a competitor list. The system tells you what to do next.
Connect marketing to value.
If it doesn't tie to cash flow, it's decoration. Every dollar gets accountable, or it gets cut.
Strategy is what you choose not to do.
Focus beats breadth every time. The hardest call in marketing is what you stop.
Ask better questions.
The quality of your marketing starts with the quality of your thinking. The right question saves quarters of wasted effort.
You don't need a big team. You need three functions covered.
A demand engine needs three functions running: marketing operations, content, and demand creation. In the old model that meant a department of a dozen or more specialists. Now AI handles the heavy lifting, the setup, content production, scoring, and reporting, so a lean in-house team can cover all three. You start with one senior operator and add people as you grow, one per function. You never need fifteen.
Marketing Operations
CRM, automation, lead capture, routing, and attribution. AI takes care of the setup and reporting.
Content
The message and ICP story. AI can turn one strong idea into a month's worth of targeted content.
Demand Creation
Campaigns, targeting, and pipeline. AI handles outreach, scoring, and qualification.
AI handles the volume. Experience is what makes it work. I build the engine and help you staff these three seats, training your people or recruiting the operators, so it runs lean and scales without adding a big team.
